Early Access Terms
Effective Oct 8, 2026 · Version 2026-10-08--01
Spell is opening to studios a few at a time, and some features arrive early, marked as early access or in preview. These terms, between Squaaads Design Services Inc., doing business as Jam (“Jam”, “we”, “us”) and your studio, apply to that early access. They sit alongside our Terms of Service; where the two differ on an early-access matter, these terms apply.
1. Still taking shape
Early-access software can have rough edges: it may be slower, less complete or less reliable than what follows, and it can change how your data looks. It is provided as is, without a promise of availability or support. Check important results, and keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
2. Things will change
We may add, change, limit, pause or retire an early-access feature, and change who can use it, sometimes without notice. We will tell you before we retire something your studio relies on, where we reasonably can.
3. Plans are plans
Our roadmap, the “Brewing next” list, demos and walkthroughs describe what we intend, not what we promise. Joining the waitlist or early access does not guarantee a place, a feature, a date or a price, unless we agree it with you in writing.
4. Fees
Early access does not create any charge by itself. Any fees for Spell are agreed with your studio before access begins, in an order or written agreement, and nothing here changes them.
5. Feedback and confidentiality
We welcome feedback and may use it without owing you anything. Features we show you before release are confidential until we make them public.
6. Your data
Early access does not change who owns your content or how we protect it: the Terms and Privacy Policy apply in full. If an early-access feature is retired, we will give you a way to keep the data you put into it, where that is practical.
7. Ending early access
Either of us can end your early access at any time by telling the other. When a feature leaves early access, the Terms of Service govern it alone. We will tell you of material changes to these terms before they apply. Questions: hello@letsjam.design.
